It’s 99% effective, the most natural way you can plan your family and be obedient to the teachings of the Church! So goes the novus ordo sales pitch for natural family planning. Month after month, year in and year out in dioceses round the land, engaged and newlywed couples are propagandized about responsible stewardship, ecology and family size. –Oh yes, and then there was that comment from the Berg-bag about not breeding like rabbits a few years back. Also, in having children, we mustn’t forget the self-divinizing novus ordo theological foundations about being co-creators with God (are we co-saviors and co-judges, too?) Along with of all the hot and thickly ladled novus ordo fudge, the end result reflects the intention of the novus ordo religion, as well as those of married couples who want all the crap their parents had -in spite of the shambolic swindlers’ economy- NFP success means that 99% of the time, the bride is not flipping pregnant.
Knowing this novus ordo desire to marry and be married, but yet not flipping pregnant, it becomes very important to layer the planned barrenness of the marriage bed with a veneer of Catholicism. For that purpose we get overtones of seriousness: hollow sounds which lack all substance. “Periods of planned non-pregnancy should only be undertaken for a serious reason,” once could be heard intoned on EWTN. What proves ever elusive is defining that which composes a serious reason. We want to go to Cancun next winter; and our pastor said that’s a serious reason! Just like sacrilegious communion in the hand, and the so-called rubrics for the schismatic N.O. mass (guffaw!), the self-worshipping novus ordo pilgrim is entitled to both make his own rules and to regard it all as bona fide Catholicism.
Unitive and Procreative: Equal or Hierarchical Relationship?
The authoritative document prohibiting the use of artificial contraception is
Paul VI’s Humanae Vitae, written in 1968. Revered among trad-servatives for “holding the doctrinal line on contraception,” their historical narrative imputes the guilt of disobedience to Humanae Vitae on rebellious clergy and their refusal to adhere to Catholic doctrine on matters pertaining to the use of contraceptive methods. However, a closer examination of this Encyclical, especially when juxtaposed with Pius XI’s Casti Connubii of 1930, will reveal major –even revolutionary– doctrinal defects in the 1968 Encyclical that in themselves overthrow the very purpose for which marriage is founded. In particular, this subtle demolition takes place in the understated demotion of the primary end of marriage, namely the begetting of children. The primacy due to bearing children in marriage is peculiarly absent in Humanae Vitae, again in contrast to Casti Connubii, which is explicit on this point. The results have been both drastic and catastrophic, leading to both a collapse in marriage and a decline Catholic population – and ironically both these effects are backlit with Catholics congratulating themselves on their employment of NFP techniques to limit their family size, but yet not having sinned by way of contraception. Humanae Vitae 12 treats of the unitive and procreative aspects of marriage
This particular doctrine, often expounded by the magisterium of the Church, is based on the inseparable connection, established by God, which man on his own initiative may not break, between the unitive significance and the procreative significance which are both inherent to the marriage act.
The reason is that the fundamental nature of the marriage act, while uniting husband and wife in the closest intimacy, also renders them capable of generating new life—and this as a result of laws written into the actual nature of man and of woman. And if each of these essential qualities, the unitive and the procreative, is preserved, the use of marriage fully retains its sense of true mutual love and its ordination to the supreme responsibility of parenthood to which man is called. We believe that our contemporaries are particularly capable of seeing that this teaching is in harmony with human reason.”
Can you locate the novus ordo fly in this doctrinal ointment? Granted, it is tough to spot. As with the documents of the Phony Council in which teaching is left open to appropriation by heretics, this text does its damage as would a hired hand who gets paid to betray the rancher by leaving the gate open, rather than the horse thief who does the actual stealing. Let’s ask this question of Humanae Vitae; between the two principles of matrimony, the procreative and the unitive, which has primacy? Looking at HV 12, it’s tough to say. Are they equal? Are they, indeed. The language isn’t quite plain: HV 12 places explicitly neither unitive nor procreative aspect of marriage above the other. On the other hand, both the document’s syntax and vocabulary indicate equal importance between the two. To wit, unity and procreation are inseparably connected, and both are inherent to the act. Granted, it’s not explicit: but if a light-in-the-loafers Vatican II peritus or his personal catamite and future heresiarch wanted to interpret HV 12 with equivalence between unitive and procreative ends of marriage, the interpretation would stand.
Let’s take a look at a document written by the actual Catholic Church on the same subject, Pope Pius XI’s 1930 Encyclical Casti Connubii
CC 8 To take away from man the natural and primeval right of marriage, to circumscribe in any way the principal ends of marriage laid down in the beginning by God Himself in the words ‘Increase and multiply,' is beyond the power of any human law.”
Principal ends…increase and multiply. Clearly no equivalence is created between togetherness of man and wife and the outcome of such togetherness. Even more direct is the declaration that human authority has no power to alter the principal end of marriage. Let’s have a gander at Casti Connubii 11
Thus amongst the blessings of marriage, the child holds the first place. And indeed the Creator of the human race Himself, Who in His goodness wishes to use men as His helpers in the propagation of life, taught this when, instituting marriage in Paradise, He said to our first parents, and through them to all future spouses: “Increase and multiply, and fill the earth.” As St. Augustine admirably deduces from the words of the holy Apostle Saint Paul to Timothy when he says: “The Apostle himself is therefore a witness that marriage is for the sake of generation: ‘I wish,’ he says, ‘young girls to marry.’ And, as if someone said to him, ‘Why?,’ he immediately adds: ‘To bear children, to be mothers of families’.”
Got that? Child holds the first place. This is Catholicism, folks. (Clearly this document lacks the novus nuance of the Conciliar Super-dogma, and savors of a medieval rigorism not known in today’s coke blowing Vatican, and infamous slime buckets like Theodore Cardinal the Jackhammer McCarrick.) But Christian parents must also understand that they are destined not only to propagate and preserve the human race on earth, indeed not only to educate any kind of worshippers of the true God, but children who are to become members of the Church of Christ, to raise up fellow-citizens of the Saints, and members of God’s household, that the worshippers of God and Our Savior may daily increase.
QED: the Catholic Church teaches us to beget children in order to populate Heaven. Somehow that one slipped by the apostles of the New Pentecost during the summer of ’68.
Fake Church and its Fallacious Logic
Thus the poison pill in HV 12 is the use of false equivalence in the treatment of two unequal and hierarchical principles. The primary end of marriage is to bear and rear children. Mutual aid and comfort between spouses, and quieting of the passions is secondary. That means kids first, then come Nights in White Satin.
Now what is the consequence to this obliteration of hierarchical principles? Well, Robespierre, of course, and the hidden malice of his Judeo-Masonic handlers: the order of the thing in question is done away with. Decapitate the Royal Monarch in the name of equality, and satan takes the throne.
Similarly, proportional ramifications can be found as a consequence of the illogical scribblings of Paul VI: demote the primacy of child-bearing and make it equal to the comfort and delight of the marital embrace, and voilà, man’s desires overthrow Divine Law. Before you know it, Catholic doctrine is fulfilled when the bride is Not Flipping Pregnant – a complete inversion of the doctrinal statements in Casti Connubii. In this case, rather than taking the throne of the Catholic Kingdom, satan jumps into the Catholic marriage bed. That’s right, in that new religion in which man’s desires overrule God’s will, and man gets his pick between sex or kids first, which one do we think will be the choice? And with that choice comes porn, perversion, and the marriage slowly immolates itself in its own vices – game, set, match: satan.
Not Flipping Pregnant: Talmudic Pilpul at the Heart of NFP.
The journey to heart of Gnostic darkness that is the novus ordo sect is ultimately a trek to the depths of perfidy, double-standards, and the just-plain-bonkers craziness of the Babylonian Talmud and the Rabbinic mentality of situation ethics.
Consider the theological hair-splitting at the foundations of NFP. The novus ordo bishop says that as long as no action is undertaken to prevent the fertilization of the ovum,
then Church teaching on contraception is not violated. What about the primary end of marriage so clearly stated in Casti Connubii? Forget that, because Humanae Vitae is what matters now, and its negative language is used in efforts to be as permissive as possible without risking contraceptive mortal sin. All is well, shout advocates of Not Flipping Pregnant! No baby, if you don’t want one, lots and lots of naughty Friday night action, AND you get to go to Heaven when you die. Win, win –hot times– win!
Such reasoning, in which the moral law is twisted into a pretzel until it obeys the will of sinful man, is right out of the synagogue. Check out Michael Hoffman’s Judaism Discovered and see how things like child rape are explicitly justified in the Talmud, as long as the victim is either a girl under three, or a boy less than nine years of age. In both cases the application of the moral law becomes the basis for the abrogation of the moral law’s very purpose, which is to doctrinally command that man restrain his unruly and sinful passions.
This same abrogation of the moral law is why Catholics of every stripe extol the sheer genius, heroism and staunch catholicity in Humanae Vitae; the law is upheld on paper and done away with in practice. Humanae Vitae is the doctrinal charter for Not Flipping Pregnant, a birth control mode that begrudgingly hews to the law’s letter while ignoring its spirit. Furthermore, this same Talmudic defiance of the law’s positive enjoinder while using negative terms to adhere to its letter is why not a single NFP advocate wants to hear about Casti Connubii. “Beget children you say? Well our method (which most couples rigorously employ in order to remain Not Flipping Pregnant) can be used to get pregnant, so there!” The primacy of child-bearing was thrown out, like the proverbial baby with the bath water, 50 years ago this month. Let’s party! That’s right: let’s get the kids, -I mean the kid, -I mean, our friends together and celebrate How Saint Paul VI saved Catholicism. And while we’re at it, let’s observe the big families of the Saracens, and their strong demographic trend lines. –Heck, even the bat-guano crazy Talmud doesn’t tell Jews not to have kids! But novus ord-ites and Trad-servatives alike do exactly that: congratulate themselves for preserving doctrine while silently consenting to so very many of their co-religionists’ practicing the Gnostic religion of self-extermination.
